Hotel Palacio de Aiete is a 4 star hotel which opened in 2002. It is set in a privileged site beside the lovely Gurutzeaga hermitage, above the city but in the center, with wonderful views of San Sebastian from most of its guests rooms. The hotel takes its name from one of the city's most beautiful sights: the Aiete Palace, built for the dukes of Bailen in 1878. Its gardens are open to the public and are charming and popular park.
